How to use H-P Deskjet 3050 scanner in Dpup? (Solved)

#1 Post by SolusUmbra »

I’m running Dpup 32bit. My printer is an all in one HP Deskjet 3050 and I have the print functioning just fine just I can’t figure out how to get the scanner part working. When I tried the one program (can’t remember how to spell the name) it says no scanner detected.

How is your printer connected to computer - usb? wireless?
Most pups use xsane & some versions do not offer wireless. If that is the case, need to install the .pet here:

Many HP multifunctions have built in scanning software - open the printer ip address in your web browser & see if you have a scan tab.
