I am running LXpupSc64 as a trial - version 19.06 + 0, with a view to using it as my go-to 64 bit Puppy, replacing Xenialpup64, which I might add, runs very well indeed. I just prefer the LXDE format for everyday workflows. And LXpupSc64 runs Imagemagick...
However, I cant see find what I need to do in order to run 32 bit Wine. Nothing seems to be in the PPM and there does not seem to be a Quickpet option.
Does LXpupSc64 need the 32 bit compatibility module, and if so where will I find it??
Maybe I have missed something....

Hi and welcome
No - you haven't missed anything - I have never ventured down this avenue and don't really understand how a 32-bit compatibility module would be created.... anybody got any guidance?
If I wanted Wine occasionally (which I don't) I'd run a specific frugal install of 32-bit LxPupSc with 32-bit Wine......
Cheers

I have looked at:
http://distro.ibiblio.org/puppylinux/pet_packages-slacko6414.2/32bit-compat-slacko-14.2.sfs
and
http://distro.ibiblio.org/fatdog/sfs/800/32bit-fd64_802.sfs
and they seem very different.......

19.06 +5 installed to my i5 based Fujitsu S761, both as a pristine install and as an update to the +4 install. Stock kernel, 5.2.8, and 5.2.9 all run. Operation and system checks all continue to be perfect with all kernels except the lidsuspend problem I noted here: http://www.murga-linux.com/puppy/viewtopic.php?p=1032848#1032848 persists. I continue to use +3 and haven't found the cause. The exact same failure now is present in LxPupSc 19.06 +5 whereas it was not present in LxPupSc 19.06 +4. Again kernel and pristine/update independent. For now I am dead-ended at LxPupSc64 +3 and LxPupSc +4. Seems a small thing but I probably lidsuspend 5 to 10 times in a day and have come to rely on the perfect resumes I had prior to these updates.
Cheers,

Marv, I had suspend, video & shutdown issues with kernels after 4.18, so I compiled latest 4.14 & all ok. Upcoming 5.4 kernel may address this.

Upcoming 5.4 kernel may address this. | I was pretty sure I had tried this but just to be sure I did a pristine install of LxPupSc 19.06 +5 but using your 4.14.134 32b kernel (with firmware included).
Nice clean boot, good SNS connection, totally functional but the problem (on my hardware anyway) is still there.
It really seems to be tied to some slackware or woof change occurring in the time frame between LxPupSc +4 and +5 / LxPupSc64 +3 and +4 and remains kernel independent in all my tests.
Edit: The more I look at this, the more convinced I am that it is something to do with a change in the synaptics driver or xorg config thereof. It's touchpad button mapping only, flsynclient -s doesn't correct it... I'm off on my daily rounds but later I'll scrummage up a mouse for the laptop or disable synaptics on it and just run the touchpad as a mouse or try a desktop. I don't mind a workaround as it may be hardware specific, I just have to find it

tested a few 32bit apps.....
steam works but fails on first launch. to get it working look into /root/.local/share/Steam/ubuntu12_32/steam-runtime/i386/usr/lib/i386-linux-gnu/ and delete any libxcb stuff and then try relaunching. (note this isn't anything to do with your sfs)
tahrpups google-earth ... fires up after updating the /lib/ld-lsb.so.3 symlink (same as above not a problem with the sfs)
an old gridwars2.pet needed /usr/lib/libstdc++.so.5. it might be worth including in the .sfs as some old 32bit pets may require it.

Thanks heaps, peebee.
I downloaded/loaded the 32 bit compatibility sfs and loaded/ran a couple of 32 bit sfs's.
I then installed wine-portable-3.3_v.2.1 and ran a couple of windows .exe apps.
Everything works as expected thus far.
Again, thanks.

Thanks from here too, peebee.
SFS loaded in LxPupSc64 19.06 +3 and QtWebBrowser (3.8.5 build 108 portable) runs well. It's my fallback/paywall piecer and probably my last must-have 32b program. Not used often but I like having it around.

having lots of fun here compared to the official release despite not knowing much about sc (more of a debian guy). overall i feel more at home with lxde than jwm/rox.
have tried a bunch of puppies before but this is the first ive seen suspend, awesome. works on both sc and bb. there is a slight issue though, it only suspends once. which scripts do suspend call? anything i should info dump to help out?

WARNING
Really weird problem with 19.09+3....
Only on some machines.....
Chromium based browsers crash
Solution is to revert to 19.09+2
ScPup64-19.09.+3 does NOT have problem
LxPupSc32 has same problem
[Later]
Recent mesa-19.2.0 update is probably to blame:
https://gitlab.freedesktop.org/mesa/mesa/issues/1860
