How do I set the following in my profile signature: naming an item to download in a way that clicking on the name will lead you to the download page of the item? Thanks

In signature control panel.
Hover the mouse pointer over the URL button at the top right.
It will show the way to enter a url so you can click on it.
It will give two ways to do it. This way or this way.
Follow the second way to enter the entry.
the name you want to use

This also works in a post to the forum.

There is a 255 character limit for signature entry.
Mine is about at that limit.

Thanks. Is there a way to make the signature applicable to all of my previous posts?

I think it changes all posts when you change something in the profile.
Check a few of your older posts.

In profile->Preferences->Posting a message->
Is always attach my signature selected yes?

Yes, I changed that in the profile. Old posts not showing.

That is strange!
I tried changing something in my signature entry.
The change seems to be showing in my older posts. :shock:

I wonder if it may be because your older posts did not have a signature entry :idea:
