mouse pointer disappears

Hi,
I'm using 2.15ce alpha which is excellent apart from one annoying problem!
The screen saver is set up as default, so he screen blanks after a few minutes. Sometimes when i waggle the mouse to wake puppy up, everything comes up as normal but no mouse pointer is on screen, but i can still highlight things. restarting icewm does nothing, restarting x blanks the screen forcing a reboot.
I'm using a logitech usb optical mouse, full h/d install.
Can anyone help? (apart from changing the mouse its nice!)

Try disabling the screen saver as a quick fix. As for restarting X, do you mean the menu option doesn't work? If so, use the "logout" option instead, or else just do ctrl-alt-backspace. Then use startx or xwin to restart X from the commandline. I almost never use the menu option anymore, so I don't know if it works right in 2.15.

I have no idea why it would do that in the first place though.

Thanks. I've disabled the screensaver, so hopefully no more problems!
Incidentally, the menu option and ctrl-alt-backspace both have the same effect when this happens, just the blank dead screen.
