If you wanna go back, first export your bkmrks.

I'd then remove your profile and the updated FF folder in either /usr/lib or /opt.

Upon launch FF will create a new ~/.mozilla/firefox/*.default profile.

Find the build you lost here >> http://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/firefox/rele ... inux-i686/

Is this USB flash or CD? If on a stick, which program was used on which OS?
Bionicpup can't find SFS file:
Bionicpup64 8 Linux 4.19.23
Waiting for USB storage.... Done
Finding puppy main sfs file. failed
Which file-system dominates your hard drive?

On HDD boot with Grub, on Fat32 HDD.

Firefox won.t start anymore , nothing is happening, while missing libraries, and i cannot find them.

I want only that Firefox is running again, Version 57 or 72.
Bookmarks and settings is not important, they can be deleted.

Suggestion:
First, delete /root/.mozilla/firefox
Then download .pet at link below - is based on firefox 48 - & install by clicking on it in ROXFiler.
