How to set programs to start at boot?

#1 Post by tarambuka »

Is there such thing in Puppy as Startup manager? I mean, is it possible to start some programs automatically after booting?

With a basic text editor you can add program start up commands to /etc/rc.d/rc.local

There's no start up manager that I'm aware of ... give the "old fashioned way" a try!

I have nothing against "old fashioned way", but I don't know what to write in this file.
