All of my pupget packages are gone. Not in the box. How do I get them back? Where do I find them?

SHS,
I'm intrigued,
what has led you to consider a problem with FUSE on NTFS?
any links?

I've had several scenarios with the pupget manager over time through upgrades, experimenting & watnot. that I've lost track of at this point & never resolved. Some involved losing all the petget packages but forget the details.
I started with 2.12 live cd save file to HD then went to 2.13-4 & 5 over ~ 6 diff computers.
Ended up booting up this desktop with the wrong disk (2.14) that was setup with 2.13 (I think).
Ended up with a 2.14 (I assume) default desktop though some old stuff was still there that I looked at, such as my docs...
Lost opera & firefox that originally had been installed and yet they were still showing as installed in the pupget manager.
In the past when I had stuff showing in the pupget manager that were no longer around, or didn't know what happened to them, ended up just using the manager to uninstall & reinstall 'em again..
Next thing I did was reinstall firefox & 'lo & behold' ended up with firefox back with all prior bookmarks.
I attribute most of it to not knowing what I'm doing Linux was all new to me.& in many ways, quite diff to winx that I was somewhat adept with.
