I have made a puppy 2.15 cd and ran it as a live disk on my pc which has a belkin 54g wireless setup which is wep enabled. I have tried to connect puppy to the wireless setup but not having any success. My aim is to eventually install puppy on an old pentium 2 laptop. Can anyone please help me connect to the wireless setup?

What is your belkin 54g?
What is the product code? i.e. F5D7050 or such like?

You may need to install a driver for it.

There are a couple of other posts in the forums on the belkin devices.

Also could have a look at

I think the information asked for here is what I am looking for too.

I have installed the ndiswrapper and Windows 2000 driver for a Netgear WG511v2 PCMCIA card, but network setup reports no active network interfaces.

Pupscan Interface Information reports the card as having "kernel module unknown". What do I need to do to link the card to the driver?

I'm using 2.14

I now have an answer to this, found here:

The setup wizard just doesn't work, although it thinks it does. I had to set up with the Wizard, then run ndiswrapper in the directory holding the .inf file. I've never been so pleased to see a LED light up.
