WakePup floppy

#1 Post by freke »

As an execise Iam trying to run puppy linux on a ACERPOWER desktop which will only boot from a floppy and a cd, I tried to make a WakePup floppy with usb floppydrive and met with failure each time. Is this because puppy does not recognise the usb drive or am Imissing something? I don't have a FDD on my pc.

Hi freke; This is a Q for the Beginners or Users forums.

You say the lappy only boots from floppy or CD, so it can't boot from USB.

I will repost the question in the beginners section with a bit more detail.
