How to save downloaded packages? (Solved)

I have to install the same packages to serveral machines. How can i download the packages (like firefox etc.) local without installing?

When you click on the link, you cannot choose between "save as" instead of "open"?

package manager local store

i using the packet manager, i think he also stores the downloads somewhere - but i don't know where

I click on the link and download a package and save it.
I then clik on the saved pup/pet package and package manager takes care of the installation.
I didn't even realize one could use the package manager to download and install a package right from the web. :oops:

to install it direct from the web was the first way i found.....
but it's also possible to download the files from http://distro.ibiblio.org/pub/linux/dis ... ackages-2/
direct any save it to a local share...
