How to use Gtkcat to find files
Start Gtkcat [Start->Find->Gtkcat find file]
Catalog
Add Path
under path type " / " for every thing or where you want the catalog to start from
under Disk Label type some name for the catalog like " every thing 9 june "
ok
it will say scanning and in my case with / as the start point it starts scanning the networked 120g drive
File
Save or next time you have to start all over again
To find a file
Catalog
Search disks
under Filename Pattern type in what you are looking for * and ? work as wild cards
Find
and thats it !
I haven't played with Shell Glob Pattern, Ragex and Exact Match yet so have no idea what they do.
