Problem running Azureus with TightVNC

Running TightVNC to access my puptop (2.14) from a Win XP SP2 machine.
I have Azureus installed on the puptop, with shortcut on the puppy desktop.
SO ... I vnc into the puptop, and click on the Azureus icon. Azureus loads ok BUT on the puptop's own desktop only (X:0), not on the virtual (X:1) desktop. So I can't remote control Azureus.
Is it possible to get this working in the "intuitive" way so that I can remote-control Azureus?
