add you name if you speak bow-wow
Quite a surprise once you open Skype and close it ( it dissapears from view until you get a call when it pops up from nowhere . . .)
Some of the things discussed with Menno . . .
1. Why I do not sound Lobsterian
2. Trying to get gphone to work (Menno seems to have tried extensively but without success of getting past routers)
3. Having IRC themed discussions at set times - this is a great idea - I will announce one soon
- sorry we got cut off Menno but it works great - next a Skype conference . . . 4 way speech

could my voip box be a problem?? Well anyhoo, if anybody calls I will
see.

Heaven is on the way, until then let's get the truth out!
Time Zone
This may be trivial, but let us try putting time zones, too, beside our skype names, so people will be able to synchronize times. As you will see below, let us try to use EDT (GMT - 5).
Example: Mine is +8h. That means if the guy am calling is -5, we are exactly 13 hours apart ( +8 - { -5 } ) = 13.
Anyway, a good start is check first the forum if the guy you're calling is online (assuming that our first instinct is login to the forum).
Edit: OK, got a date/time check with Rarsa's and Pizzassgood's help, so may I suggest a "prime time" for this? 10:00 PM should be the latest practical time, so let us try a time window:
9 Sept, 5 PM - 10 PM EDT (Eastern Daylight Saving Time - New York, which is GMT -5h )
For me, that is 6 AM - 11 AM Sep 10, as my time zone is +8h. My time difference is 8 - (-5) = 13, so add 13 hours to 5 PM = 6 AM, next day. I will probably be available 6 AM - 9 AM only, so 5PM - 8 PM EDT is best for me. So I said so in the Wiki.
