Configuring CUPS NOT to share printers on a network

#1 Post by ecomoney »

I run puppy in a networked environment via dhcp. Ive installed cups to print to a fixed ip address (a netgear print server). Quite often we change the printers on the network, and notice some strange behaviour. When we add a printer to one of the puppy computers it appears in all of the others? Is puppy CUPS designed to share printers by default on a network? Where is the setting to turn this on and off if it is, and could it be made more obvious?
