Puppy, Audacity & Griffin iMic2 -- do they play nicely?

#1 Post by paulh177 »

I'm in the process of transferring my vinyl into digital format but running into problems with the line input on my lappy clipping; funnily enough it works fine when I transfer old tapes. I'm using the same "line out" from my amp for both btw using Pizzapup and Audacity

I was thinking about getting an iMic2 (they're only 20 quid or so) but can't seem to ascertain whether Audacity will "see" it under Linux (it's know to be ok with OS X)

Anyone else had any experience with this device and Audacity?
( Whether under Puppy or not, but of course I'd rather use a Pup)
