Are there any flash/gxine plugins for Opera?

#1 Post by richhard »

for me the Opera browser is more nice then SeaMonkey.
Therefore: install it with package manager.
But: where are the promised flash/gxine plugins??

with SeaMonkey anything is working perfect!! :D

You might have to copy them from the Seamonkey plugins folder to the Opera plugins folder, or just make links. I think the folders are /usr/local/opera/plugins, and /usr/local/mozilla/plugins.

I checked in Opera: all the plugins are there, and it seems
to be complete :) my test- address:
www.spiegel.de

If I click on a video, it starts first as usual, but then it stops
downloading without any notification

The opera browswer is offered (package manager)
with all of the plugins included :)

But what can I do to bring it to work, or what I made wrong??
It does not help, if a package is offered, and it does not work
accordingly :(

perhaps 'about:plugins' works in Opera? it might help.

put that in the address bar (without 's) and hit enter.

in mozilla that shows all the plugins that were loaded.
