I had an error-free download, but when booting the live CD, it stops at init, when pup_new is being created.

EDIT: That was in the DVD drive, now it runs well in my old CD drive. My suggestions:

1. There is a "browser" item in the menu but nothing is launched. Would you care to add dillo there or even hv3 alpha14 (this is a petget package)?

2. You modified Puppy's package manager, but it defaults to installing downloaded packages only. The user must perhaps be informed by the package start screen about first downloading the packages. (And by requiring this, then there should be a browser. :) ) Also, the revised package manager does not produce an error if no package was chosen.
Puppy user since Oct 2004. Want FreeOffice? Get the sfs (English only).
