i'm having trouble to copy an image in Gimp and paste it in OpenOffice Writer. Yesterday i could do it without problem, today nothing! i've checked that i can't copy anything from one software to another, each one seem to have his own clipboard...
I'm doing something quite important that's why i would like some help to understand what went wrong...
Suddenly can't copy from Gimp, paste into OpenOffice
The linux clipboard is not as well integrated as in windows.
I spend a lot of time remote desktopping into XP and the windows rdpclip is as flaky as hell.
If I were you I would save the gimp picture
in OO do

....i probably forgot to 'merge all visible layers', or i just wasn't on the correct layer when doing Ctrl+C
so, in the same time i improved my 'Gimp' knowledge (this was the first time i really used it, not only had it
