Puppy 2.17 threw me a curve tonite. I filled up a 2.0 GB Sandisk thumb drive with music videos. I didnt know the drive was full, and when I tried to transfer another file, I was refused because the drive was full. So I happen to have several more of the identical thumb drive. I inserted an empty thumb drive and mounted it as usual, and whoa, all the directories that were present on the original full drive were shown as being present on the empty drive. Puzzlement, confusion. I repeated the procedure of unmounting the full drive and mounting the empty drive, trying to open the directories shown on the empty drive (refused). So next I tried a different size of empty USB thumb drive, but still the same persistent content showed. So...why are mounted drives doing this? I admit to being pressed for time, and I didnt reboot for the purpose of clearing the content of the original full drive. Any suggestions, observations, comments? I hope I can overcome this, because I have been using this box as a downloader for a good while, gots lots of vids.

when ROX opens hit the refresh button.

it's the two green arrows going round in a circle.

you should see the correct contents of the newly inserted drive.
