xine compile error - conditional "HAVE_XV" was nev

#1 Post by John Doe »

I'm trying to configure xine 1.0.0 to build "libreal" and "librtsp" libraries so I can build RTSPGet:
http://trisk.acm.jhu.edu/rtspget/

I get the error:
"conditional "HAVE_XV" was never defined"

This post discusses the error:
http://networksecuritytech.com/viewtopic.php?t=2403

They say I need "xorg-x11-devel or something similar". Is something similar mean XFree86-devel? Isn't this one in puppy or am I mistaken? Puppy runs xine 1.0.0 correct?

Nevermind, my whole reason was to capture an rtsp stream and I figured out I could do it with mplayer.

For the sake of the archive, this page has a great command line example:

I grabbed the mplayer Dotpup and got it done. Have a great week everyone.
