How to connect with XP using a crosscable?
Would like to share the Puppy PC data with Win XP PC, how can I use a CAT5 crosscable to do it.
It's actually quite easy.
Here they suggest using dhcp

It should also work if you assign static IPs to both computers. Once they are connected, you can transfer files as with any other network.

Just make sure that you are really using a crossover cable, not a straight one.
