First i must say excellent tutorial, it helped me to install successfully puppy 3.01 on vmware workstation 6. But i had some problems with GRUB because i didnt edit the menu.lst right after the install, so in the grub menu during boot sequence i manually added the "acpi=off" line at the end (using 'e' key and folowing instructions).

But during installation of VMware tools i encountered strange error of 492k inssuficient memory space in default directory (/usr/bin), so i had to abort install (located in var/tmp). Previously i allocated 2gb for puppy partition (ext2); 1.4 free space.

Does anyone have a clue what might be the problem?
