What does the mx in the file name mean?

OK the 2.3 sfs is activated.
In my EZpup environment I lost the desktop icons.
Don't know how WhoDo did this.
But as the entries are in the start menu, no problem.

I am just surprised that the 2.3 is so much bigger then the 2.2 (139MB versus 98MB)
How does this come?

Did you include Java in the 2.3?
That could be also an explanation.
As for the 2.2.0 it was Barry who made this sfs.
Well no real problem here, was just curious.

Hey, I'm not an advanced user so maybe my problem is just a lack of knoledge, but after downloading the sfs file, copying it to the right folder, adding it in the BootManager to to SFS files (and unchecking the option "Ignore above user selection, load all with '_400' in filename") and restarting my Puppy 4, nothing happend. No entries in the main Menu.

Any tips how to install OpenOffice from this file?
Regards.

EDIT:
Ok, sorry, hold on, I've just checked the checksums of the downloaded file and it seems to be a corupted file. I'll download it again...

EDIT2:
Now it works, thx for the download Smile

I have added the OpenOffice 3.0.0 sfs to Puppy 4.2

Everything in OOo seems to work OK, but I have one problem:

With the sfs loaded, CUPS doesn't work any more!
If I go to Menu->Setup->CUPS Printer Wizard, gtkmoz does not load the page.
If I go to http://localhost:631 manually, the main page appears, but I can't get any further. None of the other pages are forthcoming.

If I remove the sfs (by moving it out of /mnt/home/ and re-booting) then CUPS runs OK.

I have looked in the sfs and there is no file or directory with cups in the name at all.

Does anyone have any idea about this? BTW it's CUPS 1.4beta as shipped with Puppy 4.2
