Any logical reason why my keyboard doesnt work?

#1 Post by shagpile »

I had puppy 1.0.4 and everything was nice. My keyboard worked like a charm and I had no problems at all.

However when I put the 1.0.5 cd in. Although my keyboard is still on it wont type a single letter. I presume it would possibly work once inside the OS when the drivers are activated but in the mean time I cant get passed the big red writing.

I have a Saitek Gamers keyboard which under 1.0.4 was recognised as a chicony gamers keyboard.

I really wanna make this work because I have a solid state IDE module that I want to install it to. :)

P.s. No I dont have a spare ps2 keyboard. I am at my uni address and my 3 spare are back home.

Yes I saw it. It does however presume you have a spare ps/2 keyboard to fix the problem with. This is not an option for me though.
The most frustrating thing is that it works in 1.0.4 and not 1.0.5

Doesnt matter at the moment anyway. My main priority is working out how to get 1.0.4 (it works) to install to a 128mb drive in any way shape or form. Heres my other thread if you are at all able to help me with it.
