Sometimes the reviews for puppy are so high I think they are contrived. Admit it Barry, you pay these critics don't you!

Bribes

#4 Post by Lobster »

I am in charge of all bribes. Mostly I send fish. The reason Puppy receives good reviews is because it is a good distro. If you know a better one, let us know. I will be the first to move (with a big cache of fish)

It is also surprising that someone works on Puppy, improving and refining and developing, without even a kipper. Surprising but true.

Unfinished...

#5 Post by raffy »

The first post wasn't finished - perhaps s/he was so delighted her fingers went numb.

One young Intel Regional (Asia?) executive i encountered haven't heard about Puppy yet. Maybe now he can begin thinking about making cheap Puppy boxes with 540 MB hard disks.

When that happens, Mr Barry's efforts will have paid off - the new boxes will bear the Puppy stamp!

Ah, i forgot - Puppy is already doing CD rewriting. Thanks for the reminder, Mr Crustacean :)

Anybody has a direct line to VIAtech? Maybe that new box will be coming soon...
