offline dictionary for puppy 3.01?

Hi everyone,

I've been having difficulty finding an offline dictionary that will work with Puppy 3.01. I've tried some of the StarDict dotpups, but they launch Dillo whenever I enter a word, and then crash. I've also tried PBDict but can't seem to get it to work. Any recommendations for a dictionary app that would work with 3.01?

I've always been more than pleased with the CLI app dict.

Basic usage is:

dict lookupword

Another sort of companion like program, although it isn't really is look which finds legitimate words in its word list.

If these programs seem like something you want, but can't find let me know.

EDIT PS OPPS - you said offline dictionary. I think the databases can be downloaded for dict, something to look into.

I've got one that works in Windows that works in Linux, but most of the time I'm online.

No dr_spork, I don't. But I think it's worth looking into.
