Thanks, Dog. The text is blurred, not really distorted. I know that a centered image will be clearer. Anyway, I'm a poet, not a designer, and I'm better of in my own precinct.

Firstly; I love this application and the results.

The screenshot shows what it looks like now; what I would like is solid black.

Idea Another way to set the background is first use:
Desktop Solid Color Manager
for black, slide 'value' all the way to the left, select OK.
Now use the Desktop Image Manager, and select your pic, this time

Sorry to be dim, but what do you mean by the 'Desktop Solid Color Manager'? And what slider? And so on. I cannot find an application to do this.

In other word I just don't understand what to do to get a solid black around the "wet" image. Embarassed

click 'ok' on the window that pops up

On the next window click 'system' and then 'desktop color'

We're still at RC1 stage, but here's our image

If it can be added, great! If you'd rather wait for final, that's OK too.

thanks -

Many thanks; that worked fine in my main Puppy 3 setup. Smile

I was trying it out in Dingo (Alpha 3) where those menu options aren't all there as yet (see screenshot) - hence the confusion/ignorance. Embarassed

I can't spell Mathpup 2008 because i can only use each letter once...

also an integral sign would be appreciated or a summation and for summation...

the one that looks like a stretched S is the integral sign and the backwards E is for summation...

Update for wet wallpaper:
added the word: pup
added icons: ChurchPup, Rudy, Teen, MathPup, MediaCenter (i'm sure somebody must be working on this one)
, several from the 'new puppy icon' thread & internet cafe*.

*Internet Cafe owners can now create wallpapers to visually number your units,
along with the name of you establishment, example below:
