An application for amateur-radio.
Description: http://www.nitehawk.com/sm5bsz/linuxdsp/linrad.htm
Requires SVGA-lib.
Requires NASM (use Dotpupdownloader, section programming to install).
Attention:
When I try to run linrad from console, I get this:
# ./linrad
svgalib: Cannot open /dev/svga
Is svgalib_helper module loaded?
So you will have to read the HowTos to get it working (there are configuration-files in /etc/vga)
I have no idea if it will be possible to get it working, I just compiled it.
There seem to exist several other applications of that type, here is a list:

Linrad 01.34 - application for amateur-radio
Linrad has been updated as of November 2012

Has anyone updated the Puppy-friendly PET, please?
Also, if it matters, I am running Exprimo dpup 5x15 at the moment.
Thanks!

FYI:
Together with hardware that can bring RF signals into digital form Linrad forms an SDR receiver. (A Software Defined Radio receiver.) There is also a transmit part inside Linrad that will form an SDR transmitter together with appropriate hardware. (The transmit side is still at an early development stage.)
Linrad is a free (MIT license) multi-OS computer program.
