And you have MUT working in Dingo!
Now, my problem is that I can't give you any comment about your 3.96 build because it's not available yet.

puppy 4-Dingo-3.96-k2.6.24. Subject description: PETget in action in 2 parts to show the full list of installed pkgs. |
|
HIi Raffy and others who showed their interest in this build, first of all i must thanks every one, i am attaching here with the PETget pkkgs
installed list for others to know , more or less, the entire pkgs installed in this build are shown here, as i feel . this way others can also build puppy of their own choice.
as for as i am concerned i am waiting for Barry to bring out puppy 4 dingo final. in the meanwhile i would like to find out whether pup save file can be converted to sfs file or a pup save file if uploaded in any zip form would help others , which can be used by others as their save fille instead of building their own to add softwares in DINGO. i think this way it will be more helpful for those who are new to puppy and the pup save file can be upgraded to coming versions of DINGO. and save on the labor to add the same pkgs again an again.
any suggestions will be welcome.

Very interesting - thanks!
Yes, you can compress your pup_save.2fs and then upload it someplace.

puppy 4-Dingo-3.96-k2.6.24 Subject description: uploading of save2fs. |
|
Hello Raffy.
I have uploaded the save 2fs file as rar (compressed) file by the name of
"save-Deep396.2fs" at Canery's site ,link has been mentioned some where
above by Canery. The file is about 130 Mbs. I had to re-do it again to keep
the size down as the full file size was about 188 Mbs rar and 227 Mbs as
Zip.
The other reason was the previous save file had all my settings and
adsl passwords relating to net connection , skype and gizmo. Uploading is
a must for others benefit but for me it is like a bad dream , on top of
power cuts at my place i had to face too many disconnect by Server which
happens almost every ten minutes and I have to reconnect manually so
thus over all speed i get is about 6 kbps and takes about 7 hrs. which
keeps me on my toes that long that is why i shirk uploading big files.
By the way what uploading speed i can get at the ftp sit you suggested,
please let me know, with adsl2 my normal down loding speed is about 30
kbps or above.
Best regards I hope the file will prove to be useful.

Got the rar file and enjoying the build now. Thanks, charnisingh.
Lots of hours were put into this collection of applications. I just wonder how the yellow window titles can be changed.

The latest seems really nice. I am really happy to see the kernel with the megaraid driver and aic driver. This enables me to use my Dell Poweredge 1300 servers. What I did notice is it seems the scsi drivers load late in the boot process. This creates a small problem in that when puppy starts to look for a storage file it will not read anything saved on the scisi drives until it is already booted up. If that part could be moved into the time just before the storage file search happens it would be great. Also I noticed there is no tput command available is this an addon that can be put in. Currently the dotpup handler is not working. I thik it is coming along great and I really like the look. Just need a few tweaks for tput and scsi.

Many thanks, charnisingh, for your work. I have downloaded your program and have been able to install
hplip_for_puppy_1.7.4a on top of it using Dingo (puppy4alpha6, actually).
In that way, owners of HP-PSC all-in-one printers can benefit of their printers, having full control and acces to the scanner
and/or picture cards, using the latest puppy.
Cheers, and many thanks again!
