Dell Latitude 600 + puppy301 + tv ?

Subject description: the correct connection has only sound no picture		  
Dear friends,
I connect the Dell Latitude via s-video-cable to the video-in of the tv and the Dell headphone-out with the two audio-in of the tv (as is told in both manuals). I only get the sound in the tv and no movie "Pirates of the Carribean" Sad
Why not ?
I looked in the Bios but could not find anything to change. I looked into the (downloaded) manual of the Dell for installation, but it is only for WIN XP (I dont got it).
So is there anything puppy needs for running ? We would be lucky to here from someone because the DVD-player is damaged.
