Firewire Drivers in Puppy

#1 Post by crandy »

Anyone got firewire drivers to work with Puppy 1.0.5?

I have two external firewire HD's that I want to access in Puppy, and have researched how to add drivers for other variants of Linux.

I extracted ieee1394.o, ohci1394.o, and sbp2.o from the drivers package and installed them with insmod. lsmod says the modules are there, and I did a modprobe. I don't see the drives, or any way to mount them.
