Is It Possible?
Is it possible that just by mere change in the browser can some time increase the rate of sites to get opened.I faced a problem with the forums that they are not getting opened even hough I am using Broad Band?what must be the issue? Some one suggested me to change the browser is it effective?
Lately the forum has been very slow at times.
The browser shouldn't make much difference, but I wonder if there is a setting you can change to make the browser wait longer before giving up on a page...
BTW Presumably you aren't using an extremely slow computer?

A browser which is very large and bloated will run a little bit more slowly than a light and fast one. That's mainly noticible on a slow machine.
You can also modify the browser's network settings to attempt to speed things up (in Firefox, type about:config in the url-bar to see all the extra settings it has, including one that lets you disable auto-resizing of images). I don't actually know enough about networking to comment on what you should change.
Overall though, the biggest factors would be your access speed and the access speed of the server hosting whatever you're trying to download, along with any bottlenecks between you.

Pizzasgood you have impressed me a lot by your knowledge of computers and networking I think there is lot to learn from you.As you told to go and look in for help in about:config in fire fox after opening there was a long list of configurations and it made it difficult for me go for and have my query solved. Please help me out in that matter. Its really hard to get the required file in that crowd.
Hi marketraise
Have a look at this, there are many useful tips, covering different combinations of speed of PC/speed of network, as well as general settings & tips - one of the better pages IMHO, though it is quite old now

this is more recent, not so thorough but has links

"Is it possible" for the original poster to change the subject of this post to be more specific?
