Hello,

has anybody experienced that kind of problem?

I'm running Azureus 2.3.0.4 and java 1.5.0_05. After starting Azureus there appear 63 java processes, each java process alocates the same amount of memory that slowly increases. The system slows down (is dead) eventualy and restart is the only think what can I do.

Please help,

Thanks.

i'm running Azureus 2.3.0.4 and java 1.5.0_05, it seems to work ok with 256 megs of ram

older versions of Azureus seemed to use a lot of ram, and i had to limit the number of connections ... you could try reducing things like:

Maximum number of connections per torrent
Maximum number of connections globally

You could try to limit the memory Java may use:

java -Xmx128m theprogram.jar

will limit Memory-usage to 128 MB.

At least I saw this for some programs like Art of Illusion, I don't know if it works with every Java-program.
