Hallo Forum,
bei Installation von Puppy 3.01 auf Festplatte alter HW wird der Speicher nicht richtig erkannt. 128MB RAM sind installiert (werden vom BIOS beim POST erkannt, auch bei Memtest86, wenn "probe"-Option gesetzt wird), vom BIOS werden aber nur 64 MB gemeldet, das war früher eben so. Dagegen sollte der Befehl "mem=128M" beim Kernel-Aufruf im GRUB helfen. Tut er aber nicht, immer geht Puppy nur von den 64MB aus, die das BIOS meldet. Wie kann ich Puppy die richtige Speichergröße mitteilen? Für jeden Tip bin ich dankbar!
