Puppy on Handheld PC's?

#1 Post by edoc »

Anyone successfully running Puppy on a handheld PC?

I am acquiring a Sharp Zaurus 5500 in a swap and was curious as to the possibilities of deploying Puppy on it!

For zaurus I would recommend trying Opie. It's way lighter than Puppy and optimized for the zaurus. http://opie.handhelds.org/cgi-bin/moin.cgi/

Or research Zaurus specific distributions http://www.openzaurus.org/wordpress/

Anyone using a Puppy Linux PC to sync with a Sharp Zaurus 5500 or similar?

I need to get synced up so I may load a driver for the D-Link CF Card for the Zaurus and go wireless.

Thanks! doc

Can this be made into a DotPup ??

qtopia-desktop-2.1.1-1-redhat9.i386.rpm

This should sllow me to sync via USB to the Zaurus cradle.
