Lovely Puppy, however I note with some dismay you are using didiwiki in the menu

see here

http://puppylinux.org/wiki/applications ... oment-242m

http://www.siteadvisor.com/sites/didiwi ... F&aff_id=0

http://www.cyber-ta.org/releases/malwar ... 04.chatter

this is a nasty site, with browser hijacks & phishing/attacks & would advise removing links to it

Hi Aitch,

I don't understand which menu is using didiwiki. Can you please explain it to us?

Thanks,
nyu

Er, Unless I'm mistaken - this one!

It was fresh in my mind as I've only just finished tracking/reporting it

This may be a translation thing, but just to be sure....
I'd hate to think you guys have done all that work just to spread spam in your nice new pup

Aitch :)

Hi Aitch,

Thanks for pointing me the location. Now I got it. But we didn't put this "didiwiki" to the
Menu. This is the direct translation from Puppy Linux 4.00's English version. If there
is some problem regarding this program, I think you should ask Barry.

Aitch,

Is it a same problem as for original/english puppy4 to say?

We japanese puppy team do only translate into japanese from original english Puppy4.00.

Your comment means "All Puppy4.00 spreads spam".

I do not understand the problem.

The program is called Didiwiki, but we don't have a link to didiwiki.org in Puppy, to my knowledge.

If any websites have a link to didiwiki.org then they should remove it.

Hello All,

Is there a way for me to view japanese website content even if I have an english version of puppy, or do I need to install this japanese version?

Please advise

No, you don't have to download this iso. Please read the manual and
download some Japanese TTF fonts from the web. That's all.

Thanks for the post!

I got it to display Japanese content on an english version of puppy linux 4.00

For the Impatient:

Manual link
Japanese Font MS Mincho
or
Japanese Font MS Gothic

Cheers!
