Pawed Cast (listenable broadcast) Welcome to New Puppys

#1 Post by Lobster »

Here is a new sound file (pawed cast) in ogg vorbis format - created in audacity (dotpup) but I have also done them in Puppys in built recorder . . .

You download it here . . .
http://www.yourfilehost.com/media.php?c ... wed106.ogg

. . . turn up your volume (Puppy sound is set too low) with the snack xtmixersound mixer (I usually click and drag the red dot on the volume control) and click on the downloaded file

That is the documentation here:

The wiki is chaotic and CMS tries to order and structure more . . .

You're welcome.

I still haven't finished listening to the podcast. I only listened to a short part of it before I left for school.

I haven't really started getting much into podcasts yet, but they seem to be quite popular.

So have you created an RSS feed for it?

Well I'm new to podcasting, I started doing research on it today. I found this tutorial.

http://radio.about.com/od/podcastin1/a/aa030805a.htm

It mentioned RSS feeds in it and it showed how to set up a simple RSS feed for a podcast. When a podcast program detects a new audio file, it will download it for the person.

RSS feeds are used for more than just podcasting. They're used for news, blogs, etc.

I am considering doing a podcast show now. I've had some radio show ideas, but I don't have access to a radio station, and I'm not really a pro, just an ameteur, but being a musician who does his own recording, I also know some about audio, and I think doing a podcast might be cool.
