puppy transitions

#1 Post by claude »

I try to install (frugal) Transitions puppy derivatives (based on puppy 3.01) without success: xorgwizard (xorg or vesa mode) do not work; I copy an xorg.conf from puppyxp (other derivatives) which is working ok but in Transitions, I have the same problem. Puppyxp and Transitions are both run on a Toshiba Satellite DVD4090X laptop.

Looking for help.....

:D Hello,
Have tested Transitions with a similar setup, Xvesa worked fine, and had 91mb free ram left..
Actually, I was surprised it booted on such low specs, as I thought Transitions needed 256mb to run!!!
Can you check the md5sum for me??

Hello Jay,

Actually, transitions works on a desktop PC (amd 450); only only on the laptop (Toshiba) it does not work.....

So I assumed that the iso file is right......

Hello Jay,

To answer your last query, I checked the iso file checksum and it is the same as yours:

Thank you very much for your help.
