Are you bored?

#1 Post by klhrevolutionist »

Well, it is time for me to tell all.
It seems as though one or more of the moderator's do not enjoy my presence.
Don't know why, don't care. But to keep discovering that someone is messing around with my post, to where I have to change them back to their original state. To them writing some obscene things, and to change the wikka as well.

I don't know know why you all are doing it. But I can bring some light to it.
The person(s) need to be stopped.

EDIT: Flash I always change my post back. I am just now speeking up,
as it seems to be a growing problem.

klh, could you give some links to examples? As I've made plain several times in the forum, I sometimes modify the subject line, but almost never the text (except for obvious spelling or punctuation errors) of posts. I can't remember modifying any of your posts, but if I did, and you consider it obscene or offensive, let me know, please.

just to let you know

Seeing how I can't prove about the changes from my forum post, as I have changed them back.I can prove about the wikka. Here is an addition from CrustyLobster <- whom I never would expect.

The original
KlhRevolutionist put's together Jap_Proxy.pup READ
& also a hosts_file.pup READ
These applications help gaurd your privacy while on the internet.

The altered
KlhRevolutionist put's together JAP JAP_Proxy.pup READ∞
# also a hosts_file.pup READ∞ These application's help gaurd your pornography browsing and privacy whilst on the internet.

While some may say this is nothing, fine let them alter your stuff.
And that's the only one I can prove. I mean their are literally about twenty of my post on the forum that have been changed. Only to those who don't know I am always looking at my post. even my very first post to change them myself to be more helpful if I was'nt clear.

And it would'nt be a big deal. But the it just so happens that a I do get pm's and e-mails from people saying I like the ReligiousPuppy page & I think your doing a good job and so forth. I don't want poeple thinking I promote pornography and stuff of that nature. That's not me. And for the forum I don't
want people posting dotpup's above the dotpups I post. Or changing wordings around so they mean something totally different from what I am trying to get across. Unless there is just cause people should'nt mess with any posting's.
Now as flash mentioned he changes the headlines, I don't mind that unless you
try and make the post look negative, which has happened.
I'll stop there. But I will come back and add on to this post.
Heaven is on the way, until then let's get the truth out!

Yep that was me :) but then I am sub editor as of course is anyone else. So you can expect me to do that. What part did you find obscene? The truth? The word pornography? Or are you offended by the word Jap? Or maybe the spelling? Something else? The pornography browsing is only something I would do of course. Everybody else is innocent . . .

Okay guys, time out.
This thread could degenerate into insults being hurled back and forth.

Administrators are in a position of power, and need to be extra sensitive
about anything that they edit.
I understand that some people will take great offense to words like
"pornography" or "damn" being used in association with their name,
while others might not give it a second thought.
The administrators need to be very aware of this, and be careful to be
very neutral when editing or adding to anyone else's post.

The part about pornography does reflect badly on Khl. I know I'd be pretty ticked if someone added a comment like that to something I posted.

Whoops. Sorry Barry, you posted while I was typing.

Sugestion for self imposed editorial rules:

- If you don't agree with the post, or think it's incorrect add a reply as anyone else. Don't modify the original post when trying to make corrections.
- Only edit a post when it contains reasonable objectionable material (racist, insults, spam, etc)
- If you edit something add a note to the post indicating the edit.
- Don't edit subjects just because you don't like them. Although editing them when they are plain misleading is great. e.g. Editing "Help!" to "Need help with my modem" is a great service to the original poster as he/she will get more replies from people that know something about that.

The editors put a lot of time and efort maintaining the forum, mistakes will happen. Editing is after all, a subjective call. Self Imposing this or a different set of rules will help in the long run.

The P

Klh, i saw that one, but since am aware that the hosts file can filter websites, i took that as positive - that it helps guarding one's browsing to stay off the "P" sites.

Lobster must have meant well when he added that - so please don't be offended.

 Must have been a long working weekend for everyone, eh?

Watch out for Nov 17 - World Summit on the Information Society, when Nicholas of MIT shows off his prototype laptop (as a stakeholder, I guess).

I am a great and continuing fan of Mr. Klhrevolutionist's writings and works, and as such I follow his output religiously.

As for religion, as you might guess from my COW which is currently and continuously and presumably eternally lodged in A Place Where Cows Are Sacred, Mr. Klhrevolutionist can cast his net as widely as he likes and I will following him with alacrity. Notwithstanding my COW. Amen.

Kindly note that my COW is an Avatar, av
