Thinkpad 600 sound problem Subject description: IRQ conflict?
I had trouble with puppy on an old thinkpad 600.
I installed xp on it and it was troublesome too
If it is any help, the interrupt requests and confliction of said between different hardware was the problem in xp.
Unfortunately I don't know how to edit interrupt requests in puppy. Does anyone else?

I have installed Puppy 4.00 on my Thinkpad 600. No sound, but I don't need it; my Thinkpad is just for some cross-development for Atmel microcontrolers.
Works fine with an USB wifi dongle Trendnet (with ndiswrapper).
If I have time, I will try to make sound working. And pcmcia CF card reader (I need a module called ide_cs).
