Just when you thought KDE was best, along comes windowlab WM - any good?

Ha ha, the very first versions of Puppy, like around 0.1, used WindowLab.
At that stage, very limited.
It was also very sluggish -- first time I got Fvwm95 working, it was so much faster, I dropped WindowLab real quick.

I had to change the font to "fixed" in windowlab.h before it would work, but then it started right up. I'm using it now, and I do like its style (flat yellow with black outlines), but if feels kind of sluggish. Moving windows is definately slower than I'd like, and it doesn't let you go off the right or left edges. It claims that's a "feature" . I can see where giving a window focus without raising it could have its uses. It also leads to some fun effects with icons on the desktop :)

I'm heading back to IceWM now, but it was kind of cool. Maybe on a faster system it would be nicer.
