Problem in remastering 1.0.6

#1 Post by mhkhosravi »

when I want to remaster (using old version) it did not go to step 2.
It said puppy did not have root directory "/root" made on your hard disk like some other installed applications (or something same to it).
and it quits application
I thought maybe it was becase of low memory.I have about 20GB ext3 partition mounted but I dont know why puupy does not use this ?
what is the problem, I cant understand why it happend :(

I checked and it had a directory named "/root"

(sorry for my bad english  )

The /root it sees is the one inside pup001, expand size of root using resize
[Start]->Utilities->Resize /root filesystem you'll need it reboot to resize.
OR
try the new version, select the [change] button on the second or third screen.
edit the popup to force it to your large drive.

We have a script under another thread which may work for you.
