Printing symlinks seem to be changed when Gimp is installed and then broken when Gimp is uninstalled. Reinstalling solved the problem. Using puppy 1.0.6, excellent software.

It's asking a lot of a lean & efficient o/s to be able to support installing and removing major applications with all their dependencies; bugs like this are to be expected. I am amazed that puppy works as well as it does. The documentation is very good and will be one of the reasons that puppy will continue and improve over the long run.

Not sure why this is but I do know that Mtpaint is labled as "Gimp" and Gimp when installed becomes Gimp2. This may be to do with printing internals. Sure someone will be more aware of what is happening Smile
