Oh dear!
http://www.puppylinux.ca/tpp/NOP
says it has exceeded it's allocation and
http://puppylinux.igsobe.com/puppylinux/tpp/NOP/is exceedingly slow - stalled at 5hrs+ for 94Mb, probably the slowest I've ever encountered!
Update: It finally arrived. Great thing about the Aussies is that they're beavering away while folks in the N. Hemisphere are asleep! This offering is now ahead of the game, having everything fixed before 4.1.2 sees the light.

very glad to see it!
boxpup is my favourite pupplet
i'm currently playing with NOP also and found xfce-panel very useful
is it possible to have a separate pet for it?

Looks like Boxpup uses Thunar too.....................
Wish the incredibly slow downloads could be fixed though.

i found out why lxpanel crashed on puppy 4 when tryuing to add new launch buttons( i post of it in lxpanel thread
that's because it has default buttons for pcmanfm and ...( something else from lxde i forgot already )
the buttons for them has icons with red cross 'cause puppy do not have them
after i manually deleted the lines in ~/.config/lxpanel/default/panels/panel for them i can now put buttons for new apps without crashing
the only thing i miss now is auto-hide (but this is impossible it seems)

I've just booted up the new Boxpup and I must say it has one of the most beautiful and pleasing desktops I have ever seen. I'm happy to just sit here and stare at it.
Someone else said "elegance" and I could not agree more.
Thankyou.

Absolutely fantastic - it has all the goodies - Opera, conky, osmo, fotox and more.
Thanks for for this - the perfect puppy.
Especially now I've fathomed how to display
battery using asapm in the terminal.
Best regards as always - and again a MONSTER thank you
Ray

Thank you, Gray for the release. It works well. I do have some questions (I found some answers):
How does one remve the analog clock from the desktop? (Answer! To remove one needs to edit .xinitrc and comment out the line 125 that has xonclock)
How does one add/modify to the bop bar that launches programs? (Answer! One needs to edit /root/.wbar file. Note the meanings of the entries. i: points to the icon file, c: points to the program to be run, t: is the text to show when mouse point is over the icon.)
How does one move the calendar from out of the tree branches? (For completeness, Gray told me to where to look. Answer! One needs to edit /etc/conky/rc_cal lines 56 and 57 to move the calendar. Line 56 has gap_x varialble, increasing the value moves the calendar to the left. Line 57 has gap_y varialble, increasing the value moves the calendar down towards the bottom. I settled with gap_y 520.)
If there is documentation that has the information, just tell me where it is and I will read it. Once agin, thanks and it does look nice.

For some reason, when I exit Boxpup, make the pup_save.2fs file, and try to restart, it starts into regular Puppy 4.1. Anyone?
