Unusual Tiny SEAGATE 'donut' USB Hard Drive

#1 Post by aahhaaa »

Thinking that Puppyfolks are intersted in all things small, this 5 gig HD caught my eye. Its OVERPRICED now for about $80 after rebate.

I think the case shape is a coil of USB cable, and there's a microdrive with 2 Mb cache inside.

This was at OfficeMax... this weekends sale. You can view weekly sale flyers from the likes of Omax, Circuit City, Staples, etc online- and usually a day ahead. Go to their main page & find a link to weekly flyer/sale or somesuch.

Wal-mart sells a 2.5 gb version of this drive, for about the same price.

Looks like it would be fragile to me.

Solid state is the way to go :D
