Hi Barry, would be nice, if you could include the boot menu+splash screen as used (or similiar) by John Murga's version. I also do like his desktop background image!

It is bad, that you must go (temporarily?) back to 2.4 kernel Sad

I lot of extra work...

But is it really nessesary to get 1.0.3 out, before printing is working again
with abiword?

At least from my point of view, I would rather wait, until this issue is solved
one way or the other...

The new splash screen was created by someone... I've forgotten who... if he/she reads this, let me know it was you so I can post an acknowlegdement.
At least this new one isn't psychadelic.
