Can Puppy and DOS boot from the same CD?

#1 Post by EarlSmith »

Would it be possible to build a CD that had Grub, Puppy, and DOS on it so that you could boot to either Puppy or DOS. Also have a way of saving Linux or dos documents to a Floppy drive.

the current ubcd,(ultimate boot cd), has several commandline linux & dos boot disks & also has the dsl relative insert.

if you look at the website, www.ultimatebootcd.com, there is information about customising it to include whatever tools you want.

there's also a link about adding knoppix, or any other linux to ubcd
but i think you could only have one isolinux booting distro.

You can use DOS inside Puppy:

To work with DOS-Floppys try mtoolsfm from the filemanager-menue.
Mtools acess DOS-Filesystems directly, you can add a or b in the options.
