usr_kde.sfs is in the /mnt/home but not in the / (KDE)
usr_more.sfs is in the /mnt/home and /.usr_more.sfs (Open Office 2.0)

I suppose you are not using grafpup. At present only grafpup has support to load usr_kde.sfs. To load kde in any other puppy you will have to rename usr_kde.sfs to use_more.sfs.
However to get both oo and kde running together you will have to edit your rc.sysinit in image.gz as described over here http://www.murga.org/~puppy/viewtopic.p ... highlight=
