When beaver starts, it never activates the keyboard/text function immediately. It is necessary to click the mouse in the text window, before being able to work with the text from the keyboard.
It does seem like the problem is inside beaver, because the other word processors do not seem to have this problem. Guess I'll try switching over to leafpad...
This may sound very minor. But when developing a program requires entering and exiting the text editor hundreds of times, many times to make very small changes, every click matters.
