Gxset DPMS-error

MU; when i try to enable DPMS it gives me an error (which is larger than the screen and will not allow me to move it so i can see it all!)..
Error message: xset: unknown option dpms

I get that too in Puppy 106.

i don't know anything about it
but this is in gxsetshell

#Puppy xset lacks some features.

#we need to get rid of "r rate 0 0" (for example)...
#also get rid of dpms stuff "dpms 0 0 0 -dpms" ...

so maybe you can't configure dpms using gxset

I have modified gxsetshell so that DPMS and that other rate parameter are not disabled when Xorg is running. This will be in 1.0.7alpha.

I can't quite recall the exact details why I disabled those two, except it must have been because Xvesa didn't like them.
